Maintenance:

  • Rinse with warm water (do not use soap), and dry thoroughly.
  • Before cooking with the plainchant grill, apply vegetable oil to the cooking surface of your pan and pre-heat the pan slowly (always start over low heat, increasing the temperature slowly).
  • Once the utensil is properly preheated, you are ready to cook with the double sided grill pan.
  • TIP: Avoid cooking a lot of cold food in a pan, as this can promote sticking.
  • PLEASE REMEMBER: Handles will become very hot in the oven, and on the hob. Always use an oven glove to avoid burns when removing the oven grill or hob oven.
  • NEVER wash cast iron grill in the dishwasher.
